TWENTY-FIVE YEARS, BABY!!

In the present day is my twenty-fifth wedding ceremony anniversary, and that all the time will get a woman asking the Large Questions.
Questions like, “What, no cake?”
And, “how do you spell ‘anniversary,’ anyway?”
And, “Does this appear suspicious to you?”
(“It is. Wanting. At me.”)
After spending one half of my married life scripting this weblog – which, WOW, amirite? – I’ve seen sufficient anniversary truffles to know many have useful life classes to show.
For instance, this one reminds us that the primary few years of marriage are a studying expertise.
A 4 yr “anniversity,” if you’ll.
And this one encourages us to by no means quit within the face of adversity, poor planning, or earthquakes:
Its all the time the thought that counts. ALWAYS.
And this is a useful reminder that, after 24 years, even probably the most devoted couple may want a bit extra space:
Love is available in all shapes, sizes, and combos, so by no means choose.
Some people would have given up after, like, TEN weddings – however not these two loopy youngsters!
And at last, anniversaries aren’t simply concerning the large, life-changing moments; they’re about celebrating all of the on a regular basis stuff you get to share collectively. Issues like holding arms through the fireworks, or studying to one another on lengthy automobile rides … and even only a new pair of dentures:
Although for the report, Sweetie, I feel I am going to attract the road at sharing dentures.
Due to Sarah G., Jaime & Jen, Janet R., Mika R., Brad L., Brittany T., Anna F., Christine M., & Kristin R. for serving to us rejoice. John and I are in Atlanta tomorrow for Dragon Con, btw, so I hope to see a few of you right here!
